RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical leadership to the development of the new publishing system, as well as architect technical solutions for achieving greater efficiencies among research staff, editors, and composers, and providing more flexibility in the reuse and repurpose of legal information; (2) design, develop, test, and deploy codes to allow for the integration of purchased software; and (3) troubleshoot and support production staff using existing publishing system tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 8 years experience in Information Technology as a programmer with two years experience in a technical lead role.
  • Proficiency with the technologies:
    • Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP/2003
    • XML: XML/XSL/XSLT, DTD, Schema
    • Programming Languages and Development Tools: Java; JavaScript
  • Strong analytical, communication, and team skills.
  • Ability to document complex systems and procedures.
